Glockenapfel
The origin is not known. Is probably occurred as a seedling in Switzerland or Germany. It is common in both countries.
The apples are medium to large and bell-shaped. The flesh is yellowish white to white, very firm and crisp, moderately juicy, pleasantly tart with slight sweetness.
The Apple season is very late, it's eating ready in January, and has a long shelf life
The tree has good resistance to scab.
